Sonicality Workshop with Agnieszka Kazimierska
Encounters through singing, sounding, and movement

Guided by Agnieszka Kazimierska, this two-day workshop is an invitation to meet your vocality as a doorway towards playfulness and creativity. Imagination and sound will serve as a way of connecting to yourself and interacting with others.

It’s a space for meeting your inner sonic landscapes.

You will connect to your world of subjective experiences and express them through sound. You will use attention, movement, and sound to amplify experiences.

The work sessions become a playground for exploring your vocal vocabulary. Inviting your voice to play, you will go beyond the affirmed canons of vocal practices, and away from the lens of “doing it right” along with the group.

The workshop is addressed to anyone interested in personal exploration of sound and singing. You don’t need to be a singer or think you know how to sing in order to participate.

Some of the elements you will approach are texture and resonance of sound, the connection between sound and imagination, movement and intention, singing, and body memory.

The sessions will include:

  • guided explorations (with sound)

  • moments of singing songs as an ensemble

  • moments of intuitive vocal improvisation that will evolve from the guided explorations
