PAY WHAT YOU WISH

by James Caputo | Directed by Fred Franklin and Charles Clute
November 27-December 29

Here’s a play that’s a riot full of laughs. Clever laughs, ironic laughs, and full surprising belly laughs...
— Rob Spiegel, Talkin' Broadway

The Miracle of Ballydonal sets forth a bit of humor, a bit of romance, a bit of fairy tale, and a wee bit of irreverence. On a foggy Christmas Eve in a pub in Ballydonal, a small remote Irish village that time and place have forgotten, three men gather to say farewell to Eileen, but their revels are interrupted by the occurrence of a "miracle".

Laugh out loud funny, the play features a veteran FUSION director and cast, performing in an Irish pub setting.

If you are looking for an alternative to the usual holiday entertainment, the somewhat irreverent and laugh-out-loud funny ‘Miracle of Ballydonal’ is for you.
— Matthew Yde, Albuquerque Journal

Playwright James Caputo (San Diego), sees his work return to the FUSION stage for a fourth time, having been a winner of The Seven (Audience Choice Award) for his short play Amy’s Wish. Jim's plays have won many other competitions including: The Ashland Oregon New Play Festival, The Mountain Playhouse Contest, The Theatre Oxford Competition (First Prize), The Palm Springs International Festival (First Prize) and The New York Public Television Competition, which produced and distributed his work to public television stations across the country. His plays have been produced from New York City to Hollywood with many stops in between. He is an actor, director, playwright and a member of the Dramatists Guild.
