The AABA Artist Member Showcase Closing Reception
The Albuquerque Art Business Association (AABA) is inviting you to the closing reception for “The AABA Artist Member Showcase” at FUSION | 708 on Saturday, September 27, from 5–8 PM. Please come on out and support these talented folks and visit with fellow AABA members!
The AABA is proud to present their first Artist Member Showcase. The exhibition presents work by AABA Artist Members: local, independent, professional creators who make up the artistic community in Albuquerque. Each year, they present a group show featuring the work of participating members, choosing the work that best represents them and their creative spark. The AABA is committed to promoting and supporting working artists who have made art their business and to promoting a diverse creative economy. Each artist is featured on the ARTScrawl website, with many included in the AABA's annual ART Guide, which is distributed all over Albuquerque and includes a directory of local arts businesses. Join them and meet the artists!
Participating artists include: Joshua Baker, Elizabeth Beier, Janet Bothne, Dennis Chamberlain, Bailey Constas, Kelli Judkins Cooper, LadyJennD, Lauren Deyo, Amy Michelle Ditto, Joan Findley, Jessica Jeffery, Victoria Mauldin, Caitlin Padilla, Angie Rehnberg, Sally Rugala, Greta Stockerbrand, Tatulli, Beth Waldron-Yuhas, & Alice Webb
This exhibition can be viewed during public FUSION events or by appointment from September 5–30. To schedule a visit, email FUSION.
ABOUT THE ALBUQUERQUE ART BUSINESS ASSOCIATION
The Albuquerque Art Business Association has advocated for the arts in the greater Albuquerque area since 1982. The organization focuses on professional networking and community education and outreach, and works with artists, art businesses, and non-profit organizations towards that end. The AABA sponsors monthly First Friday ARTScrawl (since 2005!), Meet the Artist, and Sundays in the Village (specific to the village of Corrales) events, which include exhibit openings, receptions, demonstrations, and special events. The organization also features the Local Treasures program, which honors local artists who make exceptional contributions to their communities, and represent our diverse art scene.
