Vanilla Pop is returning to FUSION! For the past 23 years, the glitz-tastic boys from Taos have been packing New Mexican dance floors as they belt out their Vegas-inspired renditions of classic ‘70s and ‘80s pop hits.

Sage Assembly is an annual English Ball with a workshop and rehearsals in the afternoon and a fancy ball in the evening. This event is scheduled for April 9, from 7–10:30 PM, at FUSION | 708 (with workshop & rehearsal at 1:30–4:30 PM).

Bab L' Bluz are reclaiming the blues for North Africa. Fronted by an African-Moroccan woman in a traditionally male role, the band are devoted to a revolution in attitude which dovetails with Morocco's "nayda" youth movement—a new wave of artists and musicians taking their cues from local heritage, singing words of freedom in the Moroccan-Arabic dialect of darija.

AMP Concerts is bringing Lúnasa to FUSION | 708 on Monday, March 16, at 7:30 PM (doors at 6:30 PM). Named for an ancient Celtic harvest festival in honour of the Irish god Lugh, Lúnasa was formed in 1997 from members of some of the greatest Irish groups of the previous decade.

Recorded on analog gear with the musicians largely in one room, singer/songwriter Vanessa Collier's sixth album Do It My Own Way is sonically inspired by the classic Memphis soul sound of Stax and Hi Records, especially that of the Staples Singers.
