The Region of Jerry Project is coming to FUSION | 708 on Saturday, September 12, at 7:30 PM. The Region of Jerry Project is a soulful, heartfelt tribute to The Jerry Garcia Band.

Grammy-nominated harmonica man Mark Hummel has put together a Super Blues Band with iconic blues guitarists Texan Anson Funderburgh and SoCal legend Junior Watson, Upright veteran Bill Stuve and famed Texas drummer Wes Starr for this tour. Members have played with Delbert McClinton, Boz Scaggs, Canned Heat, Charlie Musselwhite, Kim Wilson, Rod Piazza, Brownie McGhee, Huey Lewis, James Cotton, and more. 

We are happy to introduce Victoriano Cárdenas for a workshop on “Exercises in Courage.”  Everyone is afraid of something. How do we exercise our courage by grappling with our fears on the page? How do we confront the anxieties of writing anything at all? 

School of Rock Albuquerque presents “Jukebox Jams,” the Adult Band Summer Season show. Both groups from their Adults Band program will perform sets with themes such as The Music of Memphis (featuring acts such as Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley) and Garage Rock (featuring The White Stripes, Pixies, and The Vines).

The In Rhythm Festival is bringing the party to FUSION | 708 on Saturday, August 29, at 9 PM, featuring San Francisco’s DJ Walt Digz! This is one portion of a three-day festival. Dj Walt Digz is the original Bay Area “Timba Dj” and a pioneer of San Francisco’s Cuban dance scene.

Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer Ron Crowder brings his all-original Rock/Pop/Funk/Soul sound to his hometown of Albuquerque, backed by an all-star band of some of New Mexico’s finest musicians. Crowder will be celebrating the release of his brand-new album, Moving at the Speed of Life.

The event kicks off with an artist panel at 4 PM and features a pop-up market, a car show, and a vinyl set by DJ Souliva. Celebrating the culture, creativity, and community that inspired it.

Florida-raised blues powerhouse Albert Castiglia has earned his reputation the hard way through relentless touring, fearless guitar work, and a deep respect for the tradition that fuels his modern edge. A former protégé of blues legend Junior Wells, Castiglia cut his teeth backing icons before stepping fully into his own as a commanding solo artist.

Comedian Kellen Erskine is coming to FUSION | 708 on Saturday, August 15, at 8 PM! With three Dry Bar specials and an appearance on Conan, Kellen is bringing his observational humor to Albuquerque for the first time!
