Elevated Entertainment presents: An Evening with Dee Brown (Life Album Release Party)

Join Elevated Entertainment at FUSION on Sunday, October 18, at 6 PM for an evening of soulful music, storytelling, and celebration as Albuquerque’s own singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dee Brown celebrates the release of Life, the first album in his three-part Life, Love, and Faith project. This is an official event of the Rising High Arts Festival! Elevated Entertainment is the MC for the night!
The evening kicks off with a DJ set from Jaxsun Planet, followed by a special performance from Keyana Wilson. Then Dee Brown’s band, The Dee Brown Situation, will take the stage to perform songs from their newest album Life, with Dee sharing stories about the music, its themes, and the experiences that inspired it.
VIP ticket holders are invited to an exclusive pre-show meet-and-greet with Dee, including light hors d’oeuvres and a signed copy of the new album. After the performance, all guests can meet Dee at the merch table and shop CDs, T-shirts, and more.
Free parking is available in FUSION’s lot next to Burger King on Lomas and is also free along 1st Street after 6 PM (more parking info + map available here).

ABOUT DEE BROWN
Dee Brown is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist born and raised in OKC, OK. He has spent his entire adult life in Albuquerque, NM, where he leads The Dee Brown Situation.
Dee’s musical roots began as a child in the Black church, where he developed a deep love for music, community, and faith. He went on to study music classically, broadening his range, musicianship, and skillset. He has carried that love for music and faith into every part of his life and has now embarked on a three-album project: Life, Love, and Faith.
The first album, Life, explores the changes we all experience and the added weight and complexities that can come with them through the lenses of Blackness, manhood, fatherhood, and more. At the same time, the project carries a strong sense of hope and celebration. You can hear that spirit in the lead single, “Good Time,” released in 2020 and available everywhere, as well as the second single, “Can’t Turn,” released in 2024.
Dee describes his musical palette as “All Things Soulful,” and that is exactly what you can expect to hear—and feel—from every note and lyric Dee Brown pens.
