Creating Superpresence: An Embodied Workshop for Introverts hosted by Elizabeth Garland

Elizabeth Garland is hosting a workshop at FUSION on Thursday, February 19, at 6 PM.

Creating SUPERPRESENCE is an embodied workshop for introverts and ambiverts who want to feel at home in their bodies while being seen. Designed for speakers, actors, and performers, this experience reframes stage presence not as something you project, but something you inhabit. Rather than forcing confidence or extroversion, the workshop supports steadiness, clarity, and self-trust—so presence can feel grounded, honest, and humane.

This workshop is especially welcoming for those who feel deeply but tense up when all eyes are on them, who perform best when grounded rather than hyped, and who sense that “just be confident” advice has never quite worked. There is NO pressure to share and NO performance games. Creating Superpresence offers a low-stimulation, high-attention space where participants can explore presence at their own pace.

Together, we’ll explore the unique gifts introverts bring to the stage, attention as a source of calm and power, and presence as a practice rather than a fixed trait. The workshop introduces simple, practical rituals to help you arrive fully before performing—without becoming louder, acting fearless, performing vulnerability, or trying to “fix” yourself.

Led by Elizabeth Garland, composer, performer, and creator of Superpresence, the workshop draws on years of performance, teaching, and research to offer a grounded, compassionate approach to being seen. Thursday, Feb 19, 6–7:30 PM at FUSION | The Cell. Registration is limited to 20 participants.
