Equal Access to Justice invites you to the opening reception of JAM FOR JUSTICE: THE ART SHOW at FUSION | 708 on Friday, March 6, from 5–7 PM. This juried exhibition features over 25 artists who are, or were, involved in the legal profession (lawyers, paralegals, legal aid staff, law school students, social workers, mental health professionals, interpreters, “friends of justice” and more). In conjunction with Equal Access to Justice’s JAM FOR JUSTICE battle-of-the-bands on March 11, this month-long exhibit will showcase talents taken from the right side of the brain and help raise funds for New Mexicans in dire need of free civil legal services. Over 50 pieces of art, in a range of mediums, will be available for purchase, with 30% or more of each sale benefiting legal aid.
A complete list of artists, their featured artwork, and how to make a purchase will be available at eaj-nm.org/jam-for-justice. For more information, please contact heather@eaj-nm.org.
Opening Reception: Friday, March 6, from 5–7 PM as part of the ABQ Artwalk and the First Friday ARTScrawl.
