OffCenter Arts invites you to the opening of New Works Exhibition on Friday, November 6, from 4–7 PM as a part of ABQ Artwalk and the First Friday ARTScrawl.
New Works Exhibition features the artwork of 17 local artists. Each artist is a participant in OffCenter's professional development and art creation program: New Works! This 12-week professional development program provides artists with educational workshops, a peer-network of artists, plus materials and support to create new, original artwork. In partnership with the state of New Mexico’s Creative Industries Division, New Works is designed to support underserved and early-career artists (of all ages). This exhibition is the culmination of months of work and features artists' working in a variety of mediums including painting, stained glass, fiber arts, and mixed media.
