Start time changed to 6:30 PM. Join us for an intimate literary reading featuring Albuquerque poet Sara Daniele Rivera, who will be joined by past workshop facilitators. In the second half of the evening, the event will turn into an open mic, where your voices can be heard!

We are happy to introduce Victoriano Cárdenas for a workshop on “Exercises in Courage.”  Everyone is afraid of something. How do we exercise our courage by grappling with our fears on the page? How do we confront the anxieties of writing anything at all?

Let's keep the momentum going! Our past two workshops have thrived in powerful conversations and creativity.  For our third workshop, we are excited to welcome Bianca A. Lucero. Bianca will be leading the workshop “Roots-through-roots: culture, nature, and her inhabitants.”

In this workshop, we'll demystify narrative by examining the conventions and tropes that make stories work, the clichés that make readers lose interest, and all the fine lines in between.

Introducing our Summer Latinx Writing Workshop! Whether you're working on a novel, writing poetry, drafting essays, journaling, or just looking for a reason to put words on the page, you're welcome here!
